where can i get factory information like the total number built or any other info about winchester model 70 pre-64 .300 savage built in 1948?

if you can find a copy Roger Rule's book" the rifleman's rifle" is the best ever on the pre 64 70s. they are out of production and pricey right now but have all the information you'd ever need to find on your rifle.

Rule just came out with a paper back version of his terrific original book...it's much cheaper than the original hard back which are getting to collector's value these days.

it's the bible for pre 64 70s.
